Strong northerly winds continue as high pressure is over the Pacific northwest and a thermal trough is along the southern Oregon coast. The strong northerly winds will continue tomorrow and into the weekend...reaching gale force at times in the coastal waters south of Cape Blanco.

N wind 25 to 35 kt. Occasional gusts up to 45 kt. Wind waves 7 to 10 ft...building to 9 to 12 ft in the evening...then... subsiding to 7 to 10 ft after midnight. NW swell 4 ft at 11 seconds...building to 6 to 7 ft at 11 seconds.
