Weather conditions as near to ideal as one could expect, especially to start the long weekend. Temp a pleasant 17C, bright sun, a slight draft from SSW, temp to rise a bit into low 20's. A forecast of possible Tstorms this evening. Same forecast till first of the week, a keeper for sure.
Lots of traps making their way home for the next few months. Rob helping off load some of his employers boats, figured they handled over 800 traps yesterday. Has his first payday between his pocket and the bank, all is well with the world. Emily having a grand time prior to her summer employment, mini-golf and movies, today to Moncton for a day at MAGIC MOUNTAIN water park, great weather to be enjoying the day.
Managed a quick trip to St. Stephen yesterday a bit of Cross Border shopping and now Shauna in possession of her NEXUS Card, two boats travelling a great conveniance coming and going time wise. The first time have been aboard the GRAND MANAN V in many months, she seems pretty small at first glance compared to the ADVENTURE.

Emily certainly taking advantage and enjoying the options the mainland has to offer, besides whathisname I mean. Yesterday they had a grand time doing the mini-golf and movis thing, today he works, but she is tagging along for a trip to Moncton for the day. She works on Monday so can expect her as late into the weekend as she can have it.
The summer traffic beginning to pickup, lots of Strangers From Away in evidence, seems the local Tourist Operators have a good summer in place, weather permitting of course.
Lots planned for CANADA DAY by the local committee, seems weather may co-operate, will be over two days to get it all in.
Enjoy the holiday.

An awesome day for the graduation! There were many beaming parents at the NBCC event at Harbour Station. One parent yelled out 'Hallelujah' when his son's name was called as a graduate (coincidentally in Cody's class) - so you know how that parent's year has gone. HaHa
Tomorrow I am up at 5:00 a.m. Driving the fools - I mean the boys - to Fundy Park to start their suicide mission (I mean trek) on the four day Fundy Footpath. They need to get the right tide to cross the river so thus our early departure. My God! I did three hours on the footpath - St. Martins side - two weeks ago and barely made it out alive and don't mind saying so. It is brutal. These guys 'used' to hike alot but of late - not so much. I am praying there will be others, more experienced, doing the same long weekend hike. Prayers please.
Mother called over to Tammy Browns to get a cabin for a weekend - any weekend - didn't matter - but Tammy is completely booked until Labour Day Weekend. So, there must be some traffic coming and going.
Well, early start for me so I am hitting the hay. It has been an extremely long day.
Details tomorrow on how the trip goes, or not. :)
