Unfortunately weatherman has it correct again this morning, a cool 8C, fog making its way up the harbour, showers till the first of next week, no great increase in temps. A large chunk of our 'spring' getting away with poor, but typical Maritime weather that should have been out the door a few weeks ago.

A boat escorted to Seal Cove last evening by DFO, allegedly dragging scallops in the 'Grey Zone' with disregard for lobster gear is one of the allegations. The vessel a former Grand Manan boat, ISLAND MARINER, now out of Digby.

Rob's graduation plans starting to take shape, with family picnic, church service, Grand March and actual Grad Day and Safe Grad trip to SIX FLAGS dates all set.

Emily enjoying her hours at the Garden Centre, however as one can imagine pretty quiet at the till.

Unfortunately weatherman has it correct, rain, as in the forecast till Sunday. A draft from SE, the 8C seems much cooler due to the moisture.

Wooly this morning, can see up the harbour, not quite to the Ross Island shore across. Total calm, 7C, weather forecast telling fog, followed by showers/rain for the remainder of the week. Temps to make it to low double digits, May a dud weather-wise, so far at least.

Rob had a full day, final lobster boat reporting in around 7PM, a little rockweed harvested. Emily had a quiet day at Garden Centre, rain and cool temps not conducive to working in the yard....

The unofficial weekend to start summer a dud, cool @7C, a steady rain, no wind. Temp might make it to double digits, slowly clearing by tomorrow, and return to similar conditions shortly after as the week unfolds.

Returned to Bermuda of the Maritimes first boat yesterday, managed to get the lawns under control. Not a chance to do some repairs on the winter kill, hoped to get at it this morning, not going to happen.
