..............day today in the Low Lands. Good to see old friends, pity we couldn't see all of them. No The Hague, no Breda, No Groningen, No Maastricht. Hopefully next year.

Good friend Hans (we have more friends called Hans. Not the one with his finger stuck in the dyke -next morning same finger, same dyke-) will pick us up for the last stamppot on Dutch Soil prepared by his lovely wife Eena. Then we'll have to leave for Schiphol to board the last direct Transavia flight which will be empty because they have to pick up the last herd of tourists from our island. At 8 o' clock tomorrow morning we can have our first genuine Pilavas on our porch.

This winter friends and family will visit us by car or fly with Olympic or Aegean by Athens.

Everybody thanks for your kindness, friendship, love, numerous gifts, food, drinks and hospitality.

..............six days in The Netherlands now and we must say: it's good to see many of our friends and family. Our diary is fully booked, money level is descending. Booked a Bed & Breakfast right in the center of Utrecht, The Hart of Holland, reasonable, clean and cozy. ..........the Big Party last tuesday night, ease is coming back to the villages. Consider that people are on holiday here to party for one week or two. We, inhabitants of this beautiful place have to party the whole season!
