	March-April Flooding 2009

I'm on the 8th floor Bethany Homes,Fargo. Looking out on maybe 2 inches of snow this March day. Fargo waiting for Red River flood, maybe a record flood. March 25th it is today.

Now April 15. Waiting for second crest of the Red River. Won't be as high as the first crest and Bethany Homes won't be evacuated this time.

Now May 4th. Overcast and chilly. Flood danger for Fargo is passed, but there's still a lot of water around.

Now May 10. ...and it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

Now May 16 Received a favorable comment on this blog from Morgy.

Now May 17 From my apartment with its window facing west I see the sunsets and hear the sonic booms of aircraft leaving Hector Airport.

Now May 18 A perfect day for golf or other activities too numerous to mention.

Now May 23 A day much like May 18

Now May 25 Rained most of the day today. 8:40 pm and radar shows signs of clearing from the west. Maybe 3/4 inch of rain today.

Now July 8th Yesterday here at Fargo waited for rain. Tracked it on radar and it tracked well south of Fargo.
Days in July have been generally cool.

Now June 22 Nice mountain photos in Main Gallery of this website. The landscape is so flat around Fargo-Moorhead you can watch a dog running away for two weeks.

Now June 6 Rain on the way. Maybe somebody will go to the casino today.

Now July 13 Rain on the way but no casino trip today.

Now July 21 Cooler than average days seem to have been the rule this July.

Now July 25 Casino day coming up on 30 July.

Now August 4 Looks like another year with a short summer.

Now September 8 Rain all around us and probably more to come.

Now September 30 Have been here at Bethany a little more than 8 months. Leaves just about to turn. Tomorrow is a Casino day. 80% of rain. Maybe the man will want to go to the casino.

Now October 10 First snow I observed this fall from 8th floor Bethany Towers. Flurries with no accumulation.

Now October 15 Changed several passwords today.

Even before I got out of bed this morning I knew that the wind was blowing from the south east....Don't tell me that arthritis doesn't help in forecasting weather....
